About Alyson Potter Wood
Hello, my name is Alyson, and I started my ballet journey many years ago, training as a dancer and teacher before embarking on a career which took me to some exciting destinations overseas. I then hung up my ballet shoes for several years, turning my hand to raising my two beautiful daughters. I became a Silver Swans licensee in 2017, recognising that teaching ballet to older learners requires an understanding of safe practice and age-appropriate class content. I have now been running Silver Swans with Alyson for several years and find great pleasure in sharing my love of ballet with people of all ages and backgrounds.

With over 30 years of experience in business and IT, I am a seasoned CTO and Oracle Cloud Solutions expert. My skills and experience cover almost all sectors and process areas, including finance, procurement, supply chain, human capital management, customer experience, and data architecture. Over the years, I have been involved in over 40 bids, delivery and transformation projects.
